Alouette Growers is a social enterprise of the CEED Centre Society. We aim to improve food security for Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows by making it easier for small-lot farmers to sell directly to consumers. It benefits the customer because they get the freshest produce that has travelled the least distance--since a majority of goods come from where they are consumed. It benefits the farmers because they can concentrate on farming and make a modest profit--they keep 75% or more of the retail value, compared to much lower paybacks from conventional wholesalers. If we get enough volume to make a profit, it benefits the CEED Centre by funding our free community programs. It benefits the environment because farms help with biodiversity. And it benefits the local economy because the money is recirculated locally. 

We are listed here as a producer so that we can keep inventory of certain items that can be released in varying quantities, like frozen meat patties.
